REFORGE
Terms of Service
Effective Date: December 23, 2025
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ReForge, a community platform operated by MagicQR Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using ReForge, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Eligibility
To use ReForge, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a software engineer or work in a technical role
- For member access: Be currently unemployed or job searching after a layoff (verified by us)
- For employer access: Represent a legitimate company with hiring authority
3. Membership Types
3.1 Community Members (Free)
Laid-off software engineers who have been verified through our application process. Free forever.
3.2 Community Supporters (Paid)
Employed individuals or verified members who choose to financially support the community. Paid voluntarily.
3.3 Hiring Partners (Paid)
Employers and recruiters who pay for access to post jobs and engage with community members.
4. Community Content & Contributions
4.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you post ("User Content"). However, by posting, you grant MagicQR Inc. and the ReForge community a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your User Content within the platform.
4.2 Community Ownership Principle
ReForge is built on the principle that contributions benefit the entire community. Content shared in community spaces (job leads, resources, advice, guides) is shared for the collective benefit of all members.
4.3 Testimonials & Success Stories
With your explicit permission, we may feature your success story, testimonial, or quotes for promotional purposes on our website, social media, or marketing materials. We will always request consent before using your story publicly. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us.
4.4 Our Rights
We may remove, edit, or refuse to post any User Content at our sole discretion, without notice or liability.
4.5 Content Deletion
If you leave the community, your posts in shared spaces (Community Hub, Resources, etc.) may remain for the benefit of other members. Direct messages and private data will be deleted upon request.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 You Agree To:
- Provide accurate information during verification
- Treat all members with respect and dignity
- Maintain confidentiality of private discussions
- Support others in good faith
- Update your status when you become employed
5.2 You Agree NOT To:
- Misrepresent your employment status or identity
- Harass, bully, or demean other members
- Share another member's personal information without consent
- Spam, self-promote, or solicit members for outside services
- Post ghost jobs or misleading job listings (employers)
- Share proprietary company information, trade secrets, or NDA-protected content
- Recruit members to competing platforms or communities
- Use the platform for illegal purposes
- Attempt to circumvent verification or security measures
- Create multiple accounts
6. Employer Accountability (Hiring Partners)
6.1 Response Requirements
Hiring Partners agree to respond to all applicants within a reasonable timeframe. We track and may publicly display response rates.
6.2 No Ghost Jobs
Posting fake, expired, or non-existent job listings is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal and permanent ban.
6.3 Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Publicly display employer response metrics
- Suspend or terminate employer access for violations
- Permanently ban employers without refund
- Flag employers who violate community standards
6.4 Decisions Are Final
All enforcement decisions are final. We are under no obligation to provide reasons, allow disputes, or offer an appeals process.
7. Paid Services & Refund Policy
7.1 Fees
Certain features require payment, including but not limited to:
- Hiring Partner job postings and subscriptions
- Community Supporter memberships
- Premium services as offered
7.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by third-party providers. You agree to their terms of service.
7.3 No Refunds
All payments are final. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:
- Change of mind
- Accidental purchase
- Failure to use the service
- Account termination for Terms violations
- Service interruptions or outages
- Dissatisfaction with results
Billing errors (such as duplicate charges) will be corrected but are not considered refunds.
7.4 No Warranty
Paid services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, including but not limited to: number of applicants, quality of candidates, hires made, or response rates.
8. Termination
8.1 By You
You may leave ReForge at any time by contacting us or deactivating your account.
8.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including but not limited to:
- Violation of these Terms
- Conduct harmful to the community
- Inactivity
- At our sole discretion
8.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to all spaces is immediately revoked
- No refunds for any paid services
- Content you posted in shared spaces may remain
- Private data will be deleted within 30 days upon request
9. Disclaimers
9.1 No Employment Guarantee
ReForge is a community, not an employment agency. We do not guarantee you will find a job, receive interviews, or achieve any specific outcome.
9.2 Member Interactions
We are not responsible for interactions between members, including disputes, disagreements, or harm arising from those interactions.
9.3 Third-Party Content
Job postings, resources, and advice shared by members or employers are not verified or endorsed by us. Use your own judgment.
9.4 Platform Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 No Consequential Damages
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MagicQR Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, employment opportunities, or goodwill.
10.2 Liability Cap
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of ReForge shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD.
11. Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11.2 Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ReForge shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court.
11.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
11.4 Exception
Either party may seek injunctive relief in court for violations of intellectual property rights or confidentiality obligations.
12. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using ReForge, you consent to our data practices.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may notify you of material changes via email or platform announcement, but are not required to do so.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and MagicQR Inc. regarding ReForge.
14.2 Severability
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours freely.
